Exploring the Potential of Port Side Rope Waste

In dialogue with Akiko Sato's work, Oval knot  (1942). 
We explored the use of Portdide rope waste within Gothenburg, Sweden. After much adventure and exploration inbetween the shipping yards, we designed a large scale play sculpture. The full scale prototype was developed into a range of forms for public space design.
